[Paperthin Hymn] Aelia's Advent Dress with Sentate's Boots (+RESOURCE: Separated Boots)
I have learnt some basic meshing and am disproportionately proud of learning this late. I am a huge, huge fan of Sentate's Military Boots and want them on everything, which is how this project came to light. The first part is this absolutely adorable dress by Aelia re-textured and shoe swapped, and the second is the boots themselves, scaled to fit maxis legs and prodded a bit so that they will work easily with tights without being an absolute bugger to texture for any one else who wants them on absolutely all the things.

Under the cut, download and resource of separated boots scaled to fit Maxis legs.

For these first two sets, my photoshop was being uncooperative and would not do actions very well, so I have had to do it the old fashioned way and *gasp* do it myself. I'm still pretty happy with the colours, and this means that there are not a million of them, so it isn't so bad. The textures are my own, using the originals on the top of the dress as a base, so further credit to Aelia.

For the third set, I have done 9 patterns paired with Aelia colour actions they matched with, having been an industrious creature for once and fixed whatever photoshop didn't like.

All three sets in the .rar are clearly foldered and named, with the Aelia ones matching the action name. The mesh is included. The usual policy of do whatever you like but credit myself and the respective creators whose work I have used, ie. Aelia and Sentate. The base texture on the dress is from CGTextures.

And, as promised, here are the boots removed from legs and scaled to fit maxis legs as a .ms3d. The bottom of the ankle should line up with the bottom vertices of a maxis ankle well enough, and have been poked to close gaps from removing them from the leg, so you can put on some fancy tights or something without having to texture around the boots. Lovely. Put them on everything. Let me know so I can utilise them on everything. Boot texture included.

Wow, these are so pretty! These particular boots are not my cup of tea, but the recolors are so gorgeous, i just have to have them :)
Maybe i could persuade someone to transfer these on the original mesh, if you don't mind?

Please, go ahead! I'm currently making a version with flats as well, because some people expressed an interest.

Cool , flats sound perfect for this dress.

I just remembered... did you mean that you are making a new mesh with flats or that you are just making recolors? Cause there is already a mesh with flats, by kyra_master701 @ LJ.

Yeah, I've got that version, I'm transferring the patterns as they are and am painting a more silky and formal-ish texture for some block colour ones.
